Lori became a REALTOR® in 2003 joining Keller Williams-Boise as a Real Estate Consultant. The following year she joined the Capital City Chapter of Women’s Council of REALTORS®. In 2007 Lori was elected Treasurer, serving in this position two years, then as President-Elect in 2009. Serving as President in 2010 Lori led her Chapter to win the National Women’s Council of REALTORS® Gold Award for Local Chapter Excellence. While serving as Past President in 2011 Lori was elected as Idaho State Chapter President-Elect. She now serves as the 2012 Idaho State Chapter President.
Graduating from the University of Idaho in 1985 with a B.S. in Clothing, Textiles and Home Design, Lori began her career in the retail industry by designing and sewing wedding dresses. Later she worked several years in public service for the State of Idaho. Wanting more time with her children, she returned to her love of design in 1990 as the co-owner of Lasting Impressions Home Design, a decorative painting company. In addition to her success in real estate, Lori started Bead Conceptions in 2009, her creative vision continues with custom jewelry design.
In March of 2011 Lori joined an independent real estate firm, Happy Dog Realty. She recently earned the National Association of Realtor’s® ePRO designation and is working towards the Performance Management Network designation.
In addition to career accomplishments, Lori has demonstrated strong leadership in her community. This includes being “Team Mom” for local soccer teams, leading fundraising efforts to benefit United Way, Adopt a Family, and the Boise River Festival’s Caring Castle. Lori served as chair of Capital City Chapter’s Annual Fundraiser in 2011. Along with her husband and daughters, she hosted two foreign exchange students whom she now considers daughters. Lori has been married to her husband, Kent, for 28 years; together they have raised two beautiful daughters who are currently working on their graduate degrees.
